We are dedicated to serving our community, both locally and globally, with joy and purpose. Here are just a few ways that we serve the Greater Philadelphia community...
"Victory Day": Each year, we celebrate "Victory Day" as a testament to our faith. This event features outdoor tables where we distribute essential items such as clothing, shoes, coats, jackets, and food. We also invite vendors to share valuable community information.
Mission Projects: Quarterly, we organize "mission projects." For example, we secure a blue bin and fill it with essential toiletries, including washcloths, body towels, and soap. In a previous effort, we collected a large number of hand sanitizers, gloves, and masks to send to Africa during the pandemic.
Grocery Donations: We regularly donate groceries to community members in need.
Christmas Day Celebration: On Christmas Day, we serve a full-course holiday meal complete with dessert and assorted drinks for the community. We also provide new coats, gloves, and scarves for men and women, and toys for children.
Shelter Visits: We visit shelters in Philadelphia to provide residents with clothing, coats, and toys.
